iRefIndex Release Process

The release process consists of the following activities:

  1. Build the database - see iRefIndex_Build_Process for details.
  2. Generate output files and statistics.
  3. Test the output.
  4. Post the output files, statistics and release information.

Testing the Output

  • Checking for errors and log messages
  • Web services
  • Spot checks
  • Counting XML tags
  • Validation
  • Parsing the final output files - see iRefIndex_MITAB_Parser for details.
