What am I doing?

I am a PhD student at IMBV (University of Oslo) and I belong to Donaldson's group (Biotechnology Centre of Oslo) since October, 2006. Currently, I am working in two different areas: Agent-based modeling of cellular pathways and Protein Interaction Network Analysis. I am also part of the courses MBV-3070, MBV-3020, MBV-4010 and MBV-INF 4410, as a teaching assistant.

Agent-based modeling of cellular pathways

I have been working in a method to represent both molecules and the context in which cellular reactions occur, using autonomous agents, and creating a software for visualization and spatio-temporal simulation of signaling pathways based on such a concept.

Protein Interaction Network Analysis

Currently, I am working in the collection and statistical analyses of yeast and human data sets from the main protein interaction databases, to be used in a study on the relationship between protein complexes and disease, using certain graph-theoretical properties.

P.S. Who am I...?

I am a human being.
